6 WEEK ACTING AND IMPROV COURSE!

Acting Up! – Confidence Through the Stage is a 6-week acting and improv course designed for preteens (ages 9–12, meeting once a week for one hour to build confidence, emotional awareness, and creative expression in a supportive, faith-filled environment. Through movement-based games, acting lessons, and group reflections, students explore key improv skills—listening, collaboration, physicality, vocal expression, empathy, and resilience—while embracing their God-given uniqueness. Each session includes a warm-up, a mini acting lesson, a main activity, a cool-down with reflection, and a takeaway challenge to apply skills outside class. The course culminates in a mini-showcase where students share their growth in a joyful, low-pressure performance. Cost: $135 for the six week course.

BEN FRANCISCO’S BIOGRAPHY

Ben Francisco is a Nashville-based actor and singer with experience in both live performance and on-camera work. A main cast member of Oddity Improv, he has performed at the Historic Franklin Theatre and throughout Middle Tennessee, specializing in family-friendly comedic performance. His professional credits include commercials for Lifeway, Libby’s, and the Tennessee Department of Health, along with media projects for Sunny Side TV. Deeply rooted in his faith, Ben is passionate about using the arts to encourage confidence, teamwork, and joy while pointing students toward Christ. Through his Christian improv classes, he creates a safe and engaging environment where students can discover their creativity, build communication skills, and grow spiritually.
