HISTOWN DANCE COMPETITION TEAMS

We are excited to officially announce that we will be expanding our competition teams for the 2026-2027 season this year! Along with our Gold Team (Level 5 dancers ages 16-19), Silver Team (Level 4 dancers ages 13-15) Diamond Team (Level 3 dancers ages10-12) and Light Crew our new Hip-Hop team, we’re also opening up a new Level 2 team for dancers (ages 7-9)!

Auditions will be held Monday, May 18th at 4:30pm. More details and how to apply to audition is coming soon!

The purpose of this competition team is not purely to win awards or accolades, although those are exciting! The main purpose is to give these dancers a more intensive experience that will benefit them either in a professional dance career, or whatever other path God lays out for them. This is not only a dance endeavor, but a spiritual one as well. We will be focusing on using great technique and artistry to ultimately show Christ to our audiences and prayerfully planting seeds that lead others to a life changing and saving relationship with Jesus! We believe this team will be majorly impactful on the dancers through the additional training and mentoring, travel, team bonding, exposure to the larger dance world, performance experience, and most importantly relying on Jesus through it all. We also believe this team will be impactful on their audiences and all those they interact with as we follow the Holy Spirit’s leading and live to be a blessing by showing the love of God to all we come in contact with.
