HisTown Dress Code
Ballet Classes
- Dancers are to wear pink ballet tights worn over the feet, and leotards. No leggings.
- Ballet skirt is optional and must be worn around the waist.
- Ballet shoes may be leather or canvas. Ballet shoes may be split sole full sole. (No ballet slippers.)
- Hair must be securely up in a bun using bobby pins. If it comes down in class it was not secured well enough.
*Level 4 may wear black tights as well.
Modern Classes
- Dancers may wear tights with or without fitted shorts, leggings or fitted dance pants. Must wear leotards.
- Fitted shirts are allowed.
- Bare feet are necessary for modern class.
- Hair must be securely pulled up away from face, long hair needs to be all the way up!
Jazz Classes
- Dancers may wear tights with or without fitted shorts, leggings or fitted dance pants.
- Must wear leotards. No shirts are allowed.
- Jazz shoes are necessary for modern class.
- Hair must be securely pulled up away from face, long hair needs to be all the way up!
Hip Hop Classes
- Dancers may wear sweats, dance pants and/or anything you can move in and dance freely.
- Dancers MUST wear shoes/dance sneakers to class.
- Keep it modest.
Dressing appropriate for class is respectful of the teacher and the class and helps the overall quality of learning without distractions.
